My directive as
Creative Director for this collaboration between the
Annenberg Foundation and
LASEC was clear but ambitious: launch a public competition to find the official visual identity for the FIFA World Cup 26™ Los Angeles region. We wanted to democratize the process, reaching deep into the diverse pockets of Los Angeles County to elevate emerging local designers and artists who truly understand the city's pulse.
BUILDING THE STAGE
To turn this vision into a movement, I acted as strategist, editor, and designer. The campaign required a cohesive voice that felt prestigious yet accessible to every artist in LA.
KEY DELIVERABLES & CONTRIBUTIONS:-
Strategic Messaging: Conceived the core narrative and call-to-action that encouraged artists from all backgrounds to submit their vision of LA.
Video Production: Produced and edited the high-energy outreach trailer distributed via YouTube and social channels to drive awareness and hype. - Visual Identity & Advertising: Designed the suite of Print and Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising materials that populated the city, promoting the competition.
- Platform Development: Constructed the backend and frontend of the digital voting platform used by our panel of judges to review and score submissions.
